I am so glad you are here. At A Place to Heal, you will be met with empathy, concern, and non-judgment in a warm, casual space. I believe everyone deserves to feel safe and has an important story to tell. I am a  licensed professional counselor in the state of Virginia.  I am also a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and have completed over 150 hours of training in treating children through play. I specialize in treating children as young as 2 years old, adolescents, and adults.

 

I offer play therapy and parent coaching. I am also experienced in treating depression, anxiety, and complex trauma at all ages.

 

I am a parent with three daughters, 23, 17, and 12. I enjoy spending time with them and my husband on our 13-acre farm in Lovettsville. I enjoy crafting of all kinds. I also love music of many genres, having majored in vocal performance as an undergraduate at Jacksonville University.
